To provide and familiarize our members with the tools and skills necessary to succeed in the business world.
Who is HBSA?
We are one of the newest organizations on the Tech campus that is dedicated to helping minority students become successful and fully
aware of all of the tools available that can help launch a successful business career.
When it comes to the world of business, there aren’t many minorities out there who hold top level Leadership positions. We want to change all that.
By becoming a member of this organization, you will not only gain access to various tools but you will also get the chance to listen to and meet local and corporate business leaders who have actually been in our shoes and have accomplished what we
hope to accomplish and that is success.
What we do:
Our goal is to make sure that everything we do will provide some type of benefit to our members whether it be
some useful tips for writing a resume, networking with business leaders or fellow members that could later serve as future business contacts or even just listening to a guest speaker that can serve as an inspiration for our quest of excelling through our college
career. Here are some of the benefits HBSA members receive:
- Provide networking opportunities by inviting guest speakers and corporate executives.
- Provide workshops that focus on business tools, such as resumes, interviews, etc.
- Assist in recruiting and promoting of minority professionals in higher education.
- Develop relationships with local business leaders.
- Give back to the community through volunteer organizations.

NO, all ethnicities are welcome to join.

NO, all majors are welcome to join. The tools and skills needed for the business industry can be used for any career.
